You can get tested on the same day you sign up and complete the health questionnaire. Keep in mind you’ll need to fast for 8–12 hours before your appointment.

No, Listen complements your existing healthcare. We provide extensive biomarker testing that most GPs don't typically order, as these tests aren't covered by Medicare or aren't part of basic check-ups.
Listen is privately billed, meaning it isn't covered by Medicare. We've chosen this model because many functional medicine tests aren't typically covered by traditional healthcare systems, and we believe comprehensive health testing should be accessible without requiring symptoms first.

Get tested at any of our 2,000+ partner pathology centers across Australia.
An average lab visit takes 15-30 minutes, however timing may vary depending on pathology clinic demand on that day.
The pathology lab collects approximately 30mL of blood to analyze over 100 biomarkers.
You'll need to present your digital QR code at the lab, which serves as your pathology request form. This will be sent to you via SMS after you sign-up for your membership.
We recommend testing once per year to track and improve their health over time. This is included in both Standard and Premium memberships.
Regular testing helps track your body's changes over time and monitors the impact of medications, diet, and lifestyle interventions. Re-testing is recommended for out-of-range biomarkers to track changes over time.
No. We exclusively partner with Healius to provide laboratory-grade testing, ensuring the highest accuracy for all biomarkers. In the near future we plan on offering at-home testing for all Listen members.
Yes. Fast for at least 8 hours before testing, drinking only water. Avoid intense exercise before and after your test. Morning appointments are recommended for optimal hormone testing. Further details will be available in your personal platform.
Continue all prescribed medications unless directed otherwise by your healthcare provider.

While we use the same trusted biomarkers as medical professionals, we do not diagnose or treat conditions. Our service complements your existing medical care.
Our comprehensive testing includes primary fertility hormones for both men and women. Additional specialised tests, including Semen Analysis and Anti-Mullerian Hormone (indicator of egg reserve), are available for purchase.
Results are typically available within 1-2 weeks of testing.
Your results include detailed biomarker descriptions, interpretation guidance, and recommendations for any necessary follow-up testing or medical action.
Yes. A registered doctor will review your results to make sure no urgent follow-up is required.
For critical results, you'll receive an immediate phone call from one of our doctors.
We exclusively use medically-accepted biomarkers and testing methods through our NATA accredited partner pathology lab.
